$1,500. San Jose Clean Energy EcoHome HP HVAC (gas replacement). https://sanjosecleanenergy.org/ecohome-rebate/ Program terms checked 2026-10-21.
Replacement means equipment is already there and it is leaving. That can be a failed outdoor cabinet on a side pad. It can be a furnace that no longer lights. It can be a heat pump that short-cycles and will not be repaired.
The crew removes that equipment. When the pad is sound, the new cabinet can sit on the same pad. A cracked pad belongs in the form. Tell the form which fuel the house uses today. The rebate shown above is the gas-replacement case.
A filter change leaves the system in place. A coil wash leaves the system in place. This page is the request to remove the system.
If the cabinet still runs and you only want it checked, use the service page. If you want the indoor heads washed and nothing removed, do not file that here.
Many slab houses need a condensate pump. There is often no gravity drain to a standpipe. Some houses already have a cover along the stucco that a new line can follow.
A flat with no outdoor pad needs that noted in the form. A balcony the building will not allow is the same kind of note. Also say whether the panel is in the garage or on an exterior wall. That note is separate from the rebate shown above.
Enter a ZIP code to see the heat pump rebate on file for that address.
Leave the address and what is coming out: a furnace, a failed cabinet, or a system that will not be repaired. Thanks. A licensed shop in San Jose handles the work, and this form sends your request there.
